Home teams still 'Jinxed'

At Brighton and Hove, the Junior Cup final between the home club and Dyke G.C. came out with The Dyke victorious 3.5 to 1.5 again with the result that all 3 Cups this year have been won by 'away' teams.

In the Plate final East Brighton beat West Hove.

INTERMEDIATE CUP 2013

The second event of the year was held at West Hove in pleasant spring conditions. In the semi finals, East Brighton beat Brighton & Hove and the home club defeated Dyke GC.

After lunch--- in the Plate final Dyke GC were winners over Brighton & Hove  4-1.

The main event final for the Trophy was a very close match decided by a 'clutch' 15 foot putt on the 18th by East Brighton's Alex Baker--to see East Brighton come out victorious over West Hove 3 matches to 2.

This year in both events so far, 'Host clubs' have not been able to maximise their home advantages.
